Kit Kat fudge

Anyone who's followed Three Ingredient Baking for a while now will know that I am VERY KEEN ON FUDGE.

My mum's been making it since I was little, but she does it the proper way, stirring and stirring sugar and butter and milk in a pan until it reaches just the right consistency.

I love her fudge, but I just don't have the patience - so my recipes over the years have always ended up back here. Simple, made-in-minutes, three-ingredient fudge. This one uses Kit Kat chunkies. And FOUR BARS of Dairy Milk chocolate.

So you really can't go wrong... just don't eat the whole lot in one go.

Makes 25 squares

Ingredients: 400g milk chocolate 1 x 397g tin of condensed milk 12 x 40g Kit Kat Chunky bars

Method: Line a 20cm square tin with foil or greaseproof paper, ensuring you press it tightly into the corners. Put the chocolate and condensed milk in a saucepan over a low heat and stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted. Pour half the mixture into the lined tin and spread it to the edges. Lay 10 of the Kit Kat Chunky bars on top, filling in all the gaps like pieces of a jigsaw, until the fudge layer is completely covered. Top with the remaining fudge mixture. Chop the leftover Kit Kats into chunks and press these down on top. Put in the fridge for 2-3 hours to set before slicing into squares.
